Why grow at home?

There’s something special about growing your own.

Fresh ingredients are at their best when they’re part of the moment you cook. Growing at home brings you closer to what you eat, from watching the first leaves appear to picking ingredients when you need them.

Closer to your food

The journey from farm to kitchen can be a long one.

Fresh produce can travel long distances and spend time in storage before it reaches your home. Time and handling can affect freshness and, for some crops and nutrients, nutritional quality. How produce is grown and handled can also vary.

That doesn’t mean store-bought produce is automatically less safe or nutritious. But when you grow some ingredients yourself, you can have more visibility into how you care for them.

A little more growing in everyday life

Grow some of it yourself.

With FarmX, indoor growing becomes part of your home. Start with compatible crops, follow their progress and take a more active role in how they’re grown.

  • ✓More connection to what you grow
  • ✓More visibility into plant care
  • ✓Freshness, closer to home
